One the plus side, this book details a lot of projects to improve one's shop- complete with cut list and details on assembly. If your woodworking goals are to build IKEA like furnishings for your shop, then this book might be great. I much prefer the Taunton books that provide advice but also showcase really well made and thought out projects.

.... Good general overview of work shop. Good pointers on work space and work flow ideas. It's good for the do it yourself enthusiasts and beginners. I'd recommend the book to anyone thinking about building a home work shop...

This is a wonderful idea book. It has many projects you can build to better utilize your space. None of the Taunton books offered any where near the useful information that this book has. This is the FIRST book I recommend to others to purchase for shop ideas and layout.

I am in the process of completing a major home remodeling project. I purchased this book along with several others to get ideas for maximizing the available space in a two car garage. I got some great space saving ideas for making storage and work modules from others in this book who have done so. I highly recommend this book as a resource for ideas.

Hats off to Wood magazine for this consolidation effort. Bringing together these first rate articles resulted in a highly substative offering.
